Many year ago I read a yaoi manga, and there was a scene that got stuck in my mind. It was a scene with the protagonist sitting on the floor, surrounded by all black (as if it was inside his mind), and he was remembering the people that, in a way, tried to help him through the story. He could see them one by one, like, extending a hand to lift him up, but he couldn't grab their hands, as if no one could help him. Finally, his own self appears, and then he realizes that nobody could help him but himself.
