i don’t feel as strongly as you do (i still enjoyed it to an extent) but i do think this would have been better if the author had gotten to write a full story. in the QnA chapter they express it was originally a full length story with a bunch more chapters and their producer told them to condense it into a short. i like their art and i feel like i could like their characters so i hope next time they actually get the chance to write the full story so it doesn’t feel so rushed.
I think if you read the other work done by this author, you’ll see that it’s an ongoing problem of theirs. They are really good at drawing but not at writing stories. “An eye for an aye” is also very illogical and just bad in general. It’s not the worst but very hard to read and understand what the characters’ motives are. It’s kind of silly, the angst is very performative and unnecessary. Usually, I can ignore it but I couldn’t close my eyes on it this time. But I’m sure they will get better with time or I’d like to believe so

It was drawn so beautifully but written so badly. Jfc the plot is super dumb and basic, characters are so fucking annoying. Zero logic. It didn’t make any sense. Smut was okay, kind of short and abrupt
