I think most of the people reading here doesn’t have the luxury of buying it. Even tho we know what we’re doing is not beneficial to the author, we try to show our respect and support them in other ways (e.g. social media). I think your way of thinking is quite judgemental, assuming people younger than you are not working

Those people might have reasons ( mental or physical illness, disabled, hospital bound) and come here to find peace/happiness in this site either by socialising in the comments or reading something. You can’t just assume an individuals circumstances and judge a chunk of people and not expect a backlash. We don’t know anything about each other even our real names and assuming each individual is wasting their time (by your standard) is rude. It’s quite disappointing to know an “adult” with maturity and a position in society is thinking this way about the younger generations.
I think it's probably because of the time difference. It's 6:30ish pm here, just had my dinner and so I came to check my notification page. Same as in the morning after I had my food I came here again to check the new updates for my comics.
But then I mean who else wouldn't be curious to know what happens next after all those rollercoaster rides we had after all the chapters. I'm curious too but with no money since we don't have any part-time job available (it's not common in my place, plus it doesn't exist in my state)

(I have a job and pay my rent and bill and have no extra time to earn additional money for my recreations. If I was as free as ya'll here, I'd do a part-time job or something.)
