I'm only on chapter 71, but I just wanna pop in to say that I had no idea how much I'd love their relationship.

At first, when the ML was introduced, I hated that he was a playboy and that he was the MC's first time in this lifetime. And then when it showed how the crown prince was also a playboy who did those horrible things to the MC, I was drawing parallels and ended up hating the ML even more because of his seemingly carefree attitude when it came to relationships with women.

Omg, and don't even get me started on when it revealed that the ML was subconsciously in love with the MC this whole time and slept around to fill his heart. That just pissed me off even more because of how selfish it was as well as how heartbreaking it was for him. I felt bad because the MC didn't love him in this lifetime yet and used the ML. And he had no idea how to navigate his emotions. But I also hated that he felt that he had to compensate for the MC's cold attitude. Why couldn't the author just make him a yearner without the horrible reputation? I mean, I do get it, but I also hate it.

I also wanted to drop it because of how soon they had sex together, but I understand it was more of a obligation for the MC more than it was for pleasure or strategy. I just felt bad for the MC that that had to be her first time in this lifetime. Maybe I'm just bitter that, in her past lives, she also didn't experience her first time with a person she actually loved. Her first life, we all know how that went. And her second life, she felt she needed to have sex with the painter guy because she wanted to escape the crown prince. And the third time, yes they were married, but they didn't love each other yet. But at least she came to love him later on.

Anyways, back to my original point: although I hated the ML and was also frustrated with the fact that everything the MC went through had to be kept to herself and nobody else knew her pain, I love this story. The author really turned things around. I love that the ML respects the MC now, and I love how the MC figured things out with the ML and how she actually wants a relationship with him.

But really, I thought I would hate the ML forever. It wasn't until the chapter where he got sick and the MC took care him that he started to grown on me. Before, I just hated when ever he showed up.
