Exactly! This whole situation was stupid and I feel like it was forced. I thought the ML looked into how she was being treated? Why send her back instead of any other country outside of the Prince's reach or influence?? Instead of having an interesting story line it's falling back to the female lead damsel in distress. I really hope the author doesn't lean into it.
