I don't think jiwon's redemption arc was that much better. It was mostly his flashback and him having a self-realization about his feelings for DG. He didn't interact with DG directly too much (except for the time when DG was sick and he took care of him ig) Imo DG forgave him way too quickly. Unless I'm forgetting smth , It's been a while since I've read BJ Alex.
At least JK is visibly doing things and making and effort to pursue Dan and make his life better ig ( I mean he's still shit and much much worse than jiwon imo but still)
don‘t know why everybody’s cheering but oh ok! he should learn from jiwon how a proper redemption arc works, sigh i really have no hope left
