Are we ignoring that ML supposedly has a fiancee?

i think he broke up the engagement right? there was one page that made me feel that at least, where he was having a conversation with his assistant or someone who worked for him. "they'll forgive you for the engagement" kinda convo, which i took that he cancelled it idk

That helps his case just somewhat
