I don't think the confession happened. It's just that.. taegun realised eunsung likes him and eunsung realised taegun knows his feelings. So now eunsung is playing it safe. Because if he came on strong or even confessed, taegun would definitely reject him. He knows taegun isn't ready yet so he's giving him time. Time to process his own feelings.
Understandable though. I also wouldn't be able to trust anyone if i was in his shoes. He's traumatized and now hates the word "i love you". Poor baby.
