HAREM END IS BAD END

The fact that the ultimate goal of the antagonist is to give him a harem end means that such route is the most vile and evil route!

I really like how this manga is poking fun or dare I say-- mocking-- at the harem genre itself. As shown in how the villain plays author by staging scenarios to deepen romantic bonds. Letting Hikaru know that those instances are inauthentic and tainted with malicious intent. Which he is so desperately avoiding. Since what inspired him to want to get married is seeing the people around him fall in love organically and cosmically. It would actually be a thematic masterpiece for an mc of a supposedly "straight" harem to end up with the femboy (lol). You know, the one who knows him, cares about him and is the who has shown to care about Hikaru's happiness.

I just hope that the mangaka cares enough about the girls to gave them their own sense of agency at the end of the manga. So far they do have distinct personalities and have character developments that does not entirely rely on impressing the guy. Their main dillema revolves around missed opportunities and timing.
