According to what we learned from this, and the previous chapter, the mc is not the real Yoo Hajin. The white haired kid is the real Yoo Hajin. But for some reason, his family lies to the public about it. The family told the public: “ Yoo Hajin (our mc) was born first, then taken overseas (This is a false claim). Then the white haired kid was born (again this is false)”
In reality, the birth order is switched. Also, our MC was born in Korea, not overseas. He grew up in the Busan area. That’s why he used to have a Busan dialect as a very young child. The real Yoo Hajin (white haired kid) was the one born first. Our MC is younger. He was apparently brought in to “replace” the real Yoo Hajin as a stand-in. We don’t know why yet.
In the previous chapter it’s revealed that the butler only joined the family when the real Yoo Hajin was already 5 years old (not our mc, the white haired kid). The real Yoo Hajin and our mc are probably similar in age. So the butler, who was lied to, never knew about the switch. That’s why our mc commented (at the end of the previous chapter) that the mother had fooled the butler. The butler doesn’t know the real truth. He only knows what he was told.
