Idk, I like the story and premise of him being obsessed, but the story did not lead into the problems very well. She says im happy with the sex, even if he's indifferent im ok with it . Then, why does he enjoy the sex so much???? And its not because she's in love with him and is hurt by only physical relationship, hell it doesnt even say she wants to be close friends outside of sex that would make you understand the "why does he only wants sex? Nope just yay good sex, why though? Now I have a huge problem with it and need to snoop. It was such whiplash that it threw me off and was confused with it. The drugging and eating her out makes sense to be disturbed/offened/grossed out/horrified by if you are not into that. But she didn't even seem to feel that, she enjoyed it(not saying that justifies) and even purposely tried to see what else he might do and almost seemed disappointed that he didnt do anything. The story was trying to state, its awful and she needs to figure out why he would do such an awful thing. But what we actually saw was "oh no so bad(lackluster response, didnt get the urgency, or need for decency/lawful need to stop it), but did get "intense" search for answers. The "plot twist" of him being obsessed and orchestring everything didnt even help, Oh I gotta do this to have her, but actually, I'll delay even though its causing more problems. Its normal that people would not be able to kill their sibling but it doesnt say he has reservations about killing his brother, infact one time he basically says I want you suffer before you die, but then next chapter, if you dont want me to stay married to her and inheriet you better wake up. Story probably trying to says he has conflicted feelings but nowhere is it showing support for that so that makes me have whiplash/confusion on his part too.
I know what the story is probably trying to say and trying to say the characters are meant to/should be feeling but its not doing it very well so its jerking me around and making me meh. I really liked what the story could have been.
