I did not really like or dislike the story. It was a nice read with some frowning.
The plot evolved way too quickly, the characters were rather flat and I really disliked the cane ML used and how the roses on the bed seemed to be in a vase instead of a pot.
But the ML when blind doesn't act differently than before which is very well portrayed. Even when you get blind you'll keep your normal behavior. Only moving (walking, orienting and so on ) would be difficult. Also that it is portrayed as not easily visible that ML is blind is well portrayed.
Overall the medical circumstances might be jibberish but that is nothing new in media. (I doubt that a head wound at the back head could lead to a blood clot in the front.) Also it is very unlikely to loose your eyesight completely on both eyes AND regain your vision without any issues.
