I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT!!!!! ikr????? whenever someone puts on perfume it's imediatelly associated with special occasions — dating mostly.
I think I heard once (idk where) that Koreans don't use perfumes because they think is invasive for the people around them to smell the perfume
Koreans do wear perfume, it’s not some rare thing. t’s just that in Korea people usually like soft, clean scents, not super strong colognes. Manhwas exaggerate it because they love the whole “omg he smells so good why is my heart beating fast???”
type moment.
So no — it’s not that Korean people don’t wear it, it’s just manhwa being dramatic for romance purposes
I’ve always wondered why manhwas take cologne so seriously that it’s almost unusual to wear it like do korean people just never wear cologne/perfume or what ??
