honestly the drama is so much better on so many aspects. for one the mc is sooo much more likeable and honestly developed on a way shorter time. he stands on business so much quicker and his poor background is way more underlying and therefore better writing - it honestly becomes repetitive. many said that one can understand and sympathise with soohyun a lot more in the manhwa but I’m honestly not finding much of a difference. and if we look at daon and sunghyeon relationship i think they got way more chemistry and an overall better dynamic - they seem so bland in this. I think the whole back and forth, which consistently happens ten times more without ANY development ruins my like ability for them. and lastly i like sunghyeon so much more in the drama, could be just a personal preference bc the actors is mwahh, for me he is like top 5 bl male lead, while his manhwa version doesn’t graze top 50. icl there’s so much more b
