I have a lot to say with the slave issue. While I ofc won't say it's alright and well, tk a degree, one may understand why Black Eagle's slaves feel "indebted" to him. It's simply been their way of life. For us it seems insane, but for them, that's what they were born into. Be a slave, work, have a place over your head, and some food. Not to say it's completely ideal, but in those times in the middle of the dessert with nothing of your own and your name, having a master may seem more ideal.
