To me, it’s not the blushes and back story, it’s how the present him is reflecting, showing remorse and the willingness to take accountability. He does not feel entitled to forgiveness but still comes forward with apologies. Which is actually hard for some people to do when they face shame. He especially did good when he made sure his apologies were clear like he did, where he was specific about what he was apologizing for. So there was no glossing over. I just hope in the future he continues to apologize like that for everything else so that he can at least give Dan acknowledgement for the pain and suffering he went through by Jaekyung. So, again, there would be no glossing over things.
I get what you're saying but I don't think in my opinion that any amount of apology can make up for that type of degrading situation Dan was put in. I can wait to see what type of 'apology' the creator comes up with.
