The balance between romance, famillial and platonic paired with the slow pacing is so well done. The characters arent over seasoned with angelic purity, super intelligent or is incredibly op — theyre morally grey and realistic with how they approach their relationships — ayanna’s heart wavering to erez, diabel actually being a yearning loser, ayanna and rox duo, and both mcs being as freaked out revenge driven psychopaths.
