WHAT constitutes as being “shounen ai”? I always assumed one thing because it’s what I had seen, but then I see people saying differently.
Some people saying it can’t have ANYTHING sexual in it (even if it doesn’t show anything) and being purely romance. Others saying as long as it doesn’t have explicit sex scenes in it.
Even on this website, some stories that are labeled shounen ai, I would assume actually isn’t, while other stories NOT labeled shounen ai, I would have assumed actually was
