My honest advice would be that don't read the side stories, especially the main couple one. They are so different from the story that I remember. It just doesn't make sense.
Spoiler
Yes they had their issues in the main story but Baek In Seo (if I am saying his name right) has become this insecure, clingy attention seeker, who can not even the bear the thought of Yi-Hyeok even breathing near to another character ... and he cries all the time, and when I say all the time don't just imagine 3-4 scenes, no in every chapter just 1 sensitive sentence and that's it. He has crocodile tears and becomes this manipulative character that I cannot even bear to look at. I don't know after previous side stories what was I even expecting but this ? He even chained Yi-Hyeok, like what even is this ? Seriously, Chains? Hate it so much. I don't understand why there is such a need from authors to make the side stories this dark themed, and make up those problems that are not needed and necessary. I can't speak for everyone else but I want to see happy couple after the end of the story and see them being domestic. Not this 180 degree turn of character that I cannot even recognize. In the end I think these side stories not only don't add up to the story but also devalues it.
