i thought bottom’s kid was alive then why was he saying he has a child in the beginning chapters?

yeah i am confused too - cause sometimes it's written like she died with her mother & other times, it's like she is lost & even he asked someone to look for her. so idk.

The wife is dead and his daughter is lost. The language is a little confusing but his daughter is alive (or so he thinks) that part hasnt really been revealed yet. He asks the guard to look for his daughter and he says “you think she is still alive?” To which he replied “as her father i can feel that shes alive”
