Usually I try to rephrase what I thought I heard from them (to confirm if that was what I heard) and they'd correct me if I'm wrong haha
Alternatively just ask them to repeat what they said or write it out
I do ask them to say it again but after not getting it 3 or 4 time I just give up and give them a vague answer. It always makes me feel so guilty ┗( T﹏T )┛
Guys are you like me...LIKE I CAN NOT HEAR FOR SHIT. My classmate would ask me questions about the lesson or whatever it is they ask and I swear I can not hear them and we literally sit in the same table. And I just answer with random stuff because I can not hear. I'm scared what if they think I'm a bitch that gatekeep my answer or something but I just genuinely can't hear.
