I liked the ending, although it is a bit sad in a way. Some side stories would be good as for the main story that’s really all they could’ve shown, yes it feels short but what else would the author contribute to the story without it feeling like it was dragging on? IMO it’s the perfect way to end it. Although I cant help but feel sad for Hill, all he wanted was to be free, and I feel that even now he isn’t completely content but he’s made with what he has. I also feel his trauma was never really validated and kind of forgotten. ML got everything he wanted a throne and family, ughshdhdhdu I just can’t help but feel so bad for hill ╥﹏╥
Everything really was pushed onto hill so quickly, the mark, a child, a new kingdom, and a new family. Yet he was expected to just accept his current reality with no restraint. I think the last panel where he states that he can’t shed the shackles he bares makes this bittersweet.
