honestly speaking, i couldn’t give a shit about the romance. for me, the climax was the reveal of richie and her dad. they dragged that shit on for ninety fucking chapters i was losing my mind. you would think for them to use the excuse “a lot of ppl have brown hair”, the author/ artist would’ve shown more ppl with brown hair. mind you, they were the ONLY two important major characters with brown hair. what do the side characters have? NOT brown hair. at least make it realistic and give a bunch of ppl brown hair so it’s not so fucking obvious they’re related.
moving on, idc what anyone says, i don’t really care about the ml. i didn’t care about the romance. even after 100 chs, its meh. and i particularly hate the “he’s cruel to everyone but me” trope. like no that’s not a flex…the flirting was corny but i guess what else could he do when richie was so fucking dense about love. for someone so smart, i hated how they gave her the cliche trope “oblivious when it comes to love” yikes girl. you’re not a genius if you don’t know when someone is clearly flirting with you.
also, why tf did they make the prince fall in love with richie. it’s clear she didn’t gaf about him and only helped him cus it would benefit her. why couldn’t they have had a platonic relationship like the pink haired servant. adding him in was lazy writing honestly. what purpose did he serve? i will say tho, i prefer someone who’s nice to everybody rather than the ml who’s cruel but only kind to the mc.
last but not least! i forgot his name cus there’s so many characters but the pink haired servant is literally MVP!! if not for him, these dense mfs would’ve never guessed they were related to each other. imo, aside from riche (because i love her except for the fact she was a dumbass at recognizing feelings) the servant was my favorite!
overall solid story! 8/10, i have a good feeling the ending will be satisfying. just would have appreciated this more if they focused on her revenge and finding her family than romance. she searched for years to find her family but shes barely gonna spend any time and build a bond cus now shes gonna be stuck in that duke’s mansion. truly did not care about the romance.
