So, to anyone that is curious about the myths, this story follows the one-sided love story of Apollo (Phoebus) and Daphne. After Apollo mocked Eros, he shot him with a golden arrow that made him fall in love with the first person he saw, Daphne. Simultaneously, Eros shot Daphne with a lead arrow, causing her to feel repulsion and fear towards Apollo. Apollo pursued Daphne like a madman, and to escape him, she begged her father, the river god for help and then he transformed her into a laurel tree.
The other myth mentioned in this is about the god of the west wind, Zephyrus, who abducted the nymph Chloris, but later married her. To make amends for his violence, he transformed her into Flora, the goddess of flowers, and gave her dominion over them (in here is a bit different, as she already is a goddess for some reason). They later have a son named Karpos
Apollo and Zephyros also have history together, as both gods fell in love with an spartan prince, Hyacinthus, but the prince favored Apollo. While they were playing discus, Zephyrus, blinded by jealousy, blew Apollo's discus off course, striking Hyacinthus, and he died immediately (⊙…⊙ )
