Tbh I like the manga more than the anime cuz the episodes have alot of gaps and the manga shows us what are those gaps. The manga follows the LN and it's more detailed. Like for example in the anime Tomoe and Mio suddenly showed up during the school festival but Makoto states at the end of S1 and start of S2 he would prefer to hide them from the bitchy goddess which it makes no sense. Now in this chapter we can see what caused them to show up and ofc it's fricking Root ("－.－)
Ik some people hate when a show of a powerful being but has more slice of life theme than action scenes but it's nicer like this cuz it show more of the characters progress and it show Makoto more expressive and shows what he truly thinks than the anime. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
