I knew the moment he stepped in to protect his friend during the inspection that he was suspicious, but they said that the injury was inflicted on the stomach and his seems fine so I was not really sure on that but I was still suspicious.
Now that we see the last chapter my suspicious on him only grew and I have a little theory about on why he has no injury on the stomach.
So when they were exploring the forest, they found that the trail leading to the abandoned building was covered in blood right? I think he went to that abandoned building and made a wish to heal his injury. Like, when the ml asked if his wish came true, he said yes right? So I'm assuming it's him wishing for the would to get better in no time. After it somehow closed, I'm assuming he went to the slave's chamber(?) because they also found a trail of blood there.
And I'll just add this one but I'm not really sure of it, it was mentioned that the would inflicted by the ayana (?) has some kind of curse that will follow the injured person right? After that incident his luck seems to be hanging by a thread right? I think he had more misfortune after they went to the red sand desert (?) because if you look at it, he seems like he was the target of the monsters there and he's the first one who fall into the quick sand.
Also not to mention that one scene in his childhood where his mom(?) was telling him something about their clan and what shit.
Well this is just a guess, if it's not him then I'll be damned.
