But I'm not gonna lie I would kind of prefer if she had stayed dead. It's harsh and I feel bad because she is kind but to me she is too forgiving, too innocent, too kind. She wants to forgive, fine, but her "Do not take revenge and live happily" speech is tiring me
These guys spent YEARS preparing this revenge after the trauma of seeing a beloved die, it made them who they are, they needed this closure and even though she possesses Rosemary's soul they are in their rights to choose forgiveness or killing as revenge, as they were directly traumatized by what happened, but no the author chose to make them renounce everything for the mc...
And now she help them let go of their hatred not become bad persons and seek justice, bla bla bla, but it feels uncomplete to me, this cliché happy ending with all the good guys not killing the bad royals because yk they are so much above that and so forgiving just doesn't feel right in that story, it only really pleases the mc and of course her brother and knight accept it for her and not for themselves which is really frustrating imo
