At this rate, the storyline will progress after 100 chapters later. The author keeps providing “mysterious” chapters and characters under the illusion of monotonous themes. Nearly 80 chapters with no character development, dull fl & ml personality, rare insight of anyone’s backstory (excluding fl and her ex) and there’s no depth/layer to any of the characters, especially ml or fl. All the characters have basic personality with predictable behaviours and mannerism. It’s not even fun to read.
Fl’s ex is a cheater who is deeply hated by every reader however ml’s dad is a cheater, irresponsible husband and father who neglects his wife and both sons yet liked by most readers cause he is hot and we don’t know much about him!!?? Does reason justify his action? No amount of backstory can justify his neglect towards his sons and wife which is a form of abuse. The older son acting out and abusing ml all because of dad’s neglect and validation.
Fl is in her 30s yet i don’t see any form of authority, self-respect within herself. She still acts so naive and dumb. What is their current relationship status? They have not progressed much. The story showed much hope and progress around chapter 20 and then it started to go downhill.
