There is no way this will have a happy or even a bittersweet ending unless and until the author extends this for a 100 more chapters or something and makes jihwan's character develop so that he can grovel in front of sooyoung, while sooyoung stabilizes his life fully AWAY from jihwan, like in a place where he can't be tracked by the other.
