I'm just glad everyone's calling the prince out for his bs, because what he did was not only wrong but embarrassing too. Now he realizes he was wrong and wants to come back though I don’t really care if he kneels or begs for forgiveness. I just don’t see someone like that ever redeeming himself, because an apology doesn’t change much after everything that happened. He willingly chose Misano after all.
As for Ronia and her brother’s dynamic, the parents are mostly to blame. In some families a son is valued far more than a daughter. Still tho, an apology means very little after years of mistreatment from him :/ I wouldn't forgive him either, if it were me.
