i hate angst too and after the first season i didn’t eat for 3 days (im being dramatic)
Hm, it kinda depends on ur preference. I was also on the boat when I was going to read this and asked the same thing as you lol. People usually say it’s max level angst or that it sucks.
My personal opinion, it was kinda ok. It definitely wasn’t for me, all the characters are tragic so like no one is truly happy, there is some alternate universe shenanigans/stuff, and the ending is a somewhat happy ending with caveats. It isn’t bad in the slightest but it isn’t something I would highly recommend to anyone either. However, if ur interested in the stuff I listed off, it wouldn’t be a bad read. (FYI, if you exclude all the rape, the smut can be goodish… if ur sensitive to rape then 1000% don’t read. I’ve kinda become desensitized to it cause of all the BL I’ve red lol…) （￣へ￣)
I wanna emphasize this. If you are sensitive to rape then please don’t read this. To put into perspective, seme rapes uke mutiple times and forces uke to have children until he literally can’t anymore. Their happy non-rape sex doesn’t happen until the alternate universe comes and seme is a different guy (I forgot how many chapters it takes before the alternate universe). Honestly seme is downright evil and has a tragic end but I wasn’t satisfied nlg. （￣へ￣）
