Okay now to continue with Grayson's story in Desire me if you can, one funny and amusing trait I see in him is how much of a hopeless romantic he is LOL. He is sooooo obsessed with finding his one true love or as he believes his fated pair/mate just as how he views how his parents are fated for each other cause literally Ashley would die and go crazy(due to pheromone accumulation) if he is without Koi, cause Koi is the only person who's pheromones can like sort of heal or prevent him from going crazy anywa that's a different story, point is they literally need to be together forever and lucky them cause that works for them consideringhow they are much in loved with each other.
So Grayson here desperate to find his "the one" goes and sleeps with every possible prospect he sees and joins any job they have just to get close to them. Bruh's job history be so wide and complex let me tell you that. And as soon as he doesn't feel any connection or as the connection he feels with them fades, he then just then leaves them like sayonara I'm out buh bye. And oh has this rule to just sleep with them for once cause he believes in only sleeping with that person if it's someone to marry hehehe. It's no question his boynd to end up with Dane, and ahhhhh I like their pairing so muchhh.
I won't spoil the whole story just some bits abt them that I soooo like that I find myself giggling when I read it.
First to know as their story and relationship progress is how Dane calls Grayson his little pretty puppy like ack ugh
Grayson on the other hand, is surprisingly poetic lol, like Shakespeare could nevah ahahahaha, he has this inner monologue one time while doing the deed that knocks me out laughing ahahahah. Bruhhhh he calls Dane's tatas Venus and his hol3 Ambrosia(yeah cause it's the greek god's food for immortality LOL

Anyways so Grayson is so heads over heels with Dane to the point where he starts to develop proper human emotions as time goes by he spents with Dane, Koi and Ashley, seeing that change and progress with Grayson causes them to love Dane so much to a point where they see Dane as their only hope for Grayson LOL. Esp Koi who adores Dane so much since he's also an extreme omega like him and apparently there's a thing with extreme omegas like they can also form some sort of certain types of bond to w/c they can use to help each other even in extent of life and death situations w/c you'll understand around at the last part of the story.
Oh and abt Koi and Ashley as a parent, in Kiss me if you can it is depicted that they're like shitty type of parents yeah? But at Desire me if you can, it's much shown how much they tried to be the best parent they can be, like yeah they're no perfect parent but for starters 6 handful children is crazzzzyyy to handle.
According to them, they see Chase as being the most normal one among all of their children, while Koi was pregnant with their fourth child which is Chase, Ashley begged and wished in his heart, for this baby to be someone who resemble Koi's and not him, not the Miller genetic behavior, and so when Chase was born Ashley was so happy with how much he indeed resembled Koi, Chase was like their ray of hope that finally they have one proper normal kid in the family, they truly adored and love Chase okay, they even called him they're miracle, and in the event when Chase's bird di3, Koi even went to his room to comfort him as the little Chase cries himself to sleep. But Chase being the different one among his siblings causes him to be the target of the bullying by the first 3 kids (Nathaniel, Stacey and most esp by her twin Grayson) to w/c they defend as just their way to channel their curiosity

So after the poison cake incident with Koi (to w/c he obviously survives thanks to Ashley saving him on time), that was that point where Ashley set his foot down. See at first they were trying to go with the gentle parenting strategy w/c obviously didn't worked for them. Koi is gullible amd naive to the core to begin with like no offense to him, he loves his kids so much that even after he almost died from a poisoned cake he is still willing to eat any food given to him by his kids like u okay bro?. But as I said after that incident, Ashley took a huge step to discipline them to become proper human beings with best of his power, he took the kids esp Grayson to doctors after doctors, therapy after therapy just so he can set him to a straight path, with Chase on the other hand, as he fears that he might experience the same thing that happened with Koi, they urged him to do or pursue acting so he can be partly separated among his siblings, thinking it would be best if he don't stand out to be their next target for worse possible schemes. Eventually this is how Chase grew more apart from them hence eventually causing Chase to resent his whole family.
I mean Ashley did try the hard way of parenting like locking up Grayson in a dark basement to sort of make him realize how his actions were wrong, something that Dominic also did to him as a child. In therapy treatments they make sure to instill to Grayson "Not to kill anyone". So Grayson growing up only listened to Ashley and eventually his decision making skills improved when he met Dane cause later on instead of thinking "Papa told me not to this or that or Papa told me this is wrong, what would Papa want me to do" he instead developed a more rational thinking by using "What would Dane do" in making what he thinks are hard decisions.
So yeahh go read Desire me if you can, if you still can't move on with Kiss me if you can, go to Grayson and Dane's story, cause there's like tons of bits of Joshua and Chase moments in it, like how Joshua went back home after his 4 months of work away from Chase and their kids and how Chase is all over him begging for attention hehe. Oh and Chase now knows how to cook even Joshua looks at him full of pride like ah yeah that's my man who doesn't know how to toast a bread before but now is cooking a steak LOL, parenthood really suits them, Chase is a remarkable good Papa to their kids considering how he managed to handle the kids for months whenever Josh's work requires him to be sent away from them at some period. Alsooooooo Josh and Dane as a duo is giving omega hottie baddie vibe like aaaahhh power bottoms for the win. And Josh is so devoted in helping Chase heal from his traumas, cause there's that point where Grayson was kidnapped by some sort of cult organization and it was Joshua and Dane who's to the rescue since well Joshua at this point is like a high ranking bodyguard who's knowledgeable with the Miller household (to w/c Ashley entrusts him with) and ofcourse Dane cause he needs to save his puppy. So back to the kidnapping scenario, Dane was telling Josh "you want to kidnap Grayson but here you are helping me to save him from being kidnapped, weird" and Joshua replies with "yes I want to kidnap him but not die, cause he owes Chase a lot of apologizing, he needs to say sorry to Chase, so Chase can heal". Like bruh I melted with that, baby boo loves his princess alpha so much it's giving uwu vibes.

Oh and there's that part where everything's kinda all settled like near happy ending, where Grayson finally was able to reach out and locate Chase to have a proper conversation and to say sorry for all the things he has done that caused so much torment and trauma to Chase, so the two Miller brothers are basically talking inside having their conversation and weirdly Chrissy Jean(Nathaniel Miller's love interest) is with them in the living room just errr observing the two have their talk, and while Grayson is busy expressing his apologies and Chase is bickering with response, the two of them were like "why are even here???" towards Chrissy Jean, to which he responds that he's just like interested in the Miller brothers affairs and is like Nathaniel's proxy during that time LOL.
So yeah while they're having their talk inside the house(of Chase's and Joshua's)
Joshua and Dane on the other hand were busy doing some squat exercise just outside the house so that in Joshua's reasoning incase Grayson pulls some wrong move with Chase, he's there to step in immediately and with Dane on the other hand, he wanted to stay close by so that incase Grayson does something stupid he's also there to interfere LOL poor Grayson ahahahaha.
At this point Dane and Joshua ended up mocking each other like how questionable it was for Dane to end up with Grayson, considering how much of a playboy he was and even added that if he were still his old self he would've already slept with Chrissy Jean at this point considering those were his usual type back then, Dane then retorted how Joshua's acting so mighty and clean now considering how back then the two of them even went to the same club to go out and hunt for partners, to which he added that he still remembers Joshua's mole in his bumbum.
And funny thing is that while they're talking abt this they felt and instant chill and looked behind them and saw the two Miller brothers looking a them, Chase with a shocked and drained face LOL and Grayson with a seemingly hurt and offended look.
It's so funny how Grayson screamed at them with like "you two have slept together before????" ofcourse the two in unison denied it and I'm laughing how Dane made the situation worse by saying "no back then we were just hunting for partners together yeah it was a time where we don't even know you guys yet" Chase calming down at this point, but then Dane added "that time I had only 6 partners and Joshua with 5" AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA Chase's face literally turned white and our princess immediately went inside sulking and Josh gave Dane a "I will murder you" look as he hurriedly went inside as well to soothe his sulking Alpha.
Grayson then reported to Dane how Chase didn't accept his apology and Dane asked him what should he do, Grayson smiled and said that he'll just have to apologize again and again until Chase's forgives him and Dane happily commends how his puppy is such a good boy ackkk
So yeah there were like some forums I've read somewhere that eventually Chase's relationship with his parents and Grayson improved at some point and its all thanks to Joshua's and Dane's effort

Yeah the first gen of the Millers (Chase's and Grayson's grandfather's story) is reallllly dark, but I'd say the recurring novels aren't so bad, Chase and Joshua's story were really nice so is with Grayson and Dane's. There's even an interaction among 4 of them that was so cute. For the parent's story Ashley Miller and Connor Miles(Koi), this one I haven't read yet but a lot of people say they really have that cute lovestory esp during their youth, they say the conflict on their story were pretty much tolerable and doesn't pose much like heartbreak or trouble for readers. TBH I prefer both Kiss me if you can and Desire me if you can over Kiss me liar, in a sense were the favored two had more heart fluttering moments compared to Kiss me liar where I was so frustrated to the core, hence I'm just happy they still got their happy ending

okayyyy I see a lot of readers hating Grayson, and yes that is perfectly valid like I agree with the hate esp in Kiss me if you can novel version, it's clear as day how much of a disgusting bully Grayson is esp during their childhood...but.......
After reading Desire me if you can (novel ver w/c focuses on Dane and Grayson's story that's now complete with 210 chapters), you'll get to well sort of understand better how Grayson is, again it is to understand how he is and not to validate how he is.
It's mentioned in Kiss me if you can how Grayson simply imitates emotions and actions based on how he considers a usual people should react on certain situations, now in Desire me if you can it is much discussed how their parents (Alpha Father: Ashley-dominant Alpha and Omega Father: Koi/Connor-extreme omega) have had it while raising all of their 6 children, w/c they express was so handful to handle LOL. Funny thing abt Ashley and Koi, is that Koi(yes the dominant omega father)originally wanted 12 kids and Ashley(dominant alpha) wanted just 1 cause he's reluctant that his Miller genes or more specifically his parents' genes especially Dominic's, would be passed on to his kids and he expects it to be quite a probable problem in the future(w/c is true LOL), so somehow they meet halfway and settled with 6 kids hahaha
Firstly here's the synopsis of the 1st gen's story for better understanding on the further story:
1st Gen:
Eat me up if you can (Haven't read yet and I don't plan to, but based on the summary and spoilers I've seen, this is just dark like much darker than all dark manhwas and novels I've read)
Dominic Miller - Dominant Alpha (obsessive mf and ruthless walking black flag)
Ashley (Juliet) Dawson - Gamma(don't know much abt gamma but it is said to be someone who can't be affected by pheromones, pretty much like a beta but with a superiority in ranking similar to extreme alphas) who was forcefully mutated to turn into Omega (manipulative and sooooo obsessed with power pretty much like Baek Ahjin of Dear X, also a walking black flag)
- Basically Juliet(Ashley Dawson is much referred with this nickname) is so hungry of power to w/c he's willing to do literally anything just to rise up in ranks and to make his parents proud. And this caused him to manipulate Dominic and make him fall for him, and the mf on the other hand did fall for his manipulations like literal hard fall. Just as Dominic was preparing to propose to Juliet and all that supposed romantic shit, Juliet then dropped the bomb that he's getting married to someone who's much wealthy and powerful and that he just used Dominic as a stepping stone to achieve that goal. Wrong move Juliet LOL, so Dominic did an uno reverse card by saying he wants to meet Juliet one last time for like a proper closure and Juliet was like meh why not, but that's when Dominic broke down to the most ruthless obsessive mf he has become. He trapped and kidnapped Juliet, broke his ankle so he couldn't walk to escape, abused and him multiple times, mutated him to turn into an omega so he could carry his child (Ashley Miller- Chase and Grayson's Alpha Father, see Dominic's so obsessed with Juliet he names their son after him). Juliet made several suicid3 attempts but failed at first many tries until it was not clearly stated but like told in way that at some point he was successful enough to di3 and be free from his misery. Dominic then stayed beside his lifeless body and burned the whole mansion down to which their son Ashley described as the day their story has burned and turned into ashes that still haunts him at some point as their shadows still lingers in the present time.
I need to tell this story first cause it's like a link to some parts in Grayson's story or pretty much to the Miller brothers and sisters (3rd gen). Like see now how y'all understand why Ashley Miller just wanted to have 1 kid LOL.
