this is why ppl need to take psychology classes…u really wouldn’t know how he would’ve turned out just because of how he was as a kid… kids say so much rude and out of pocket shit they don’t even mean…like yea he was a really annoying when he was a kid and now… but when she slapped him he most likely altered it in his brain that the sister did some terrible thing (hence him dragging it for so long) this was because he was being molested it made him feel like everyone around him wasn’t a safe space so his attitude turned out to be shit after that but like shit ion blame him… an u can literally see in the beach scene he actually does cherish her he’s just traumatized and depressed hence why he’s on medication… it’s annoying but her brother is MCs only family so she’s stated why she cares for him so much/ pretty sure that’s what she’s been working so hard for him so her purpose was almost taken from her
Like seriously yeap he had a totallly bad childhood. So is his older sis. He was incredibly self centered even before he got molested. Calls her stupid etc, and he resents her for every little bad thing that happened in his life. He resented her for until his death, verbally abusive, a leech, a parasite that leeches of her light.
