Listen.... I actually love how the author portray Jihwan and Sooyoung tbh. I've read hundreds or even thousands of psychological manhwa/manga with ML like Jihwan but seriously seeing him like that (especially the panel when he show up out of nowhere in front of the door) is still gave me the chills and i can understand Sooyoung very much, the author didn't really glaze Jihwan as someone, "redeemable" and more like "yeah fuck it, that dude crazy so here you go".
We saw Jihwan through Sooyoung's POV and it make me empathize with him so much more, like reading his dialogue, his struggles, even the way he smoke a cigarette like it carry a stressful and gloomy vibe and as much as i feel sorry for him (i mean of course i do) i can't help but think the artist did such a splendid job... t's the gloomy mood from Sooyoung's perfectly, that makes me continue to read this manhwa. He portrayed as someone who's realistic, too realistic even so imagine that and being stalked by someone like Jihwan.... Poor boy can't catch a break. But seriously the author did such a good job for writing Jihwan character tbh... Like reading this manhwa it's such a guilty pleasure?? Like ughhh i know it won't end up well or could be, but not so much of a smooth way to go there, but reading this feels like a guilty pleasure...
Just imagine when u know something bad is gonna happen but then it doesn't. But then just when you can catch a break, the thing that you've been worried about is indeed happening. YOU KNOW IT WILL EVENTUALLY HAPPENED. I feel like... when i read this manhwa, i can't help but feel anxious for Sooyoung like I'm Sooyoung myself
