And then the terrace atrocity happened. After that, she still didn't cut her family off, they promoted her brother instead to keep eyes on him. But he's trash of a brother still continued being a trash, he started gambling again which made Courtney stressed again which made Richard mad. They summoned her brother in the palace, still full of himself, blaming Courtney for all of his misfortunes, Courtney crashed out again and beat him up with a duster and locked his brother in a comfy room, providing 3 meals a day since she doesn't want to send her brother in a dungeon like Richard suggested. And then, Richard suggested to deal with her family. He called all of them for a trial, with the emperor. They declared that her brother will be exiled and strip off his title, her family objected of course, it's not a surprise, Elise is especially annoying in that part. So they ended up just letting him guard the border as a soldier. He even insist on making him a lieutenant, so annoying. My cutie eddy is the only mature left in that family, gosh.
And, the remaining chapters includes Richard's butt, until the end.
