Why are all the characters literally white lol??? Like blank paper white #－.－)

I guess its to add the horror and scary illusion so you feel uneasy no matter how 'happy' the scene want it to look like. It work abit too well with 'How to Get My Husband on My Side', "a Stepmother's Marchen" and "My in Laws are Obsessed with Me"

Right?? I know that beauty standards are pretty harsh in manhwas, but it gets to a point. I'm pretty sure they have more blue undertones than actual skin colours lolol. It becomes awkward to read when all characters look like corpses ( ；∀；)
