both love and hate >_> he loved aeroc but he hated how he treated his mate that it overtook him and convinced himself that he didn’t love aeroc at all (I think, I read this AWHILEEE ago TT)
He loved him but he was in denial because they where both alphas at the beginning, then he was overtook by his desire to avenge his lover… so he ended his life full of regrets
Kloff desired Aeroc, but because he is very homophobic (bonus inferiority complex), he chose to pursue an easier and socially acceptable option look alike. As much as Aeroc was at fault for inviting Kloff in his estate and letting his emotions get him. Kloff as a married man… knowing Aeroc’s attraction to him should have put Rapiel’s interest first. But because Kloff is a piece of shit… he turned his marriage into this game, using Rapiel to rile up Aeroc. Vol 2/s2 Kloff expressed a projection of his future marriage with Rapiel as boring… He wanted his cake and eat it too.
In vol 2 (novel) or s2-s3 he expresses his resentment about this weird feelings, Aeroc was desirable and all, but the guy was not only an alpha but he was above Kloff’s station (Count, wealthy, and all). That’s why the line ‘he wanted to thank the gods’ when Aeroc turned out to be an omega was telling about Kloff’s view as a person.
Im confused. Did kloff love Aeroc in the first love or not?
