The guy is much older than the blond guy. So, yes, maybe he's repeating what the ex-husband did. And she's trying to protect the guy and the blond guy by not letting him approach the blond guy. Because, in reality they knew what grooming can do to someone. I love that woman. We need more character like her in fiction and reality
She is blocking that trauma from ruining him tbh.. it's harsh but I do think he needs that reminder if it's a pattern of behaviour
U think she keeps calling him a groomer because of her ex husband? Maybe every time she sees him she sees her ex husband and has to remind herself he was a groomer and has to remind him he was groomed
