I can understand what you mean, but as rape and child-trafficking victim, I never thought anyone deserved the same fate I had.
Not to say that I never prayed and pictured my abusers going through the same think or even worse, at at some point of my life I just had to imagine what I could do to them to be able to live.
I do not condone rape, be it as a revenge or anything else, just like I do not think that one should carry their own justice.
Still I think this is refreshing because finally rape is not romanticize like you mentioned, and the after affects are somehow true. Which is a point I hate in pretty much all the bl stories I read.

You guys just don't understand what Juyeon went through, people saying Jiwook didn't deserve all this didn't read the novel and even if they did they must've done it with their eyes closed.

Juyeon was gangraped by Jiwook and his friends, he was gangraped for a year, mind you, he's younger than Jiwook, he was a literal kid when it happened. And its not even the worst part. The worst part is that they took pictures and sent them to his MOTHER. Juyeon is taking revenge not even for himself but also for what they did to his mother. The excuse that Jiwook has amnesia and shouldn't be treated like he is is absolute bullshit. It's like saying that if someone got drunk and raped another person then its not his fault because he wasn't in his right mind. That's bullshit. Everyone is saying rapists should get raped, pedophiles should be castrated until it actually happens and it turns out people are hypocrites.
Yall can say that he doesn't deserve this, that he's taken accountable even when he doesn't remember but the truth is even if he didn't lose his memories yall would treat him the same.
The only reason why people are defending Jiwook is because this manhwa shows what a real rape looks like and how it messes with people, yet it only works one way because no one seems to care what the rape did to Juyeon. Just because Jiwook is messed up now doesn't take away from what he did to Juyeon. It's the public humiliation, the fact that his mother saw her son get brutally raped is what's most terrifying. Jiwook is a bad person, its clearly stated from the start, he was the same when he raped Juyeon, and he's the same when he's getting his karma back. You can call me cruel for that but the truth is yall are only pitying Jiwook because rape isn't romanticized in this manhwa, its real and for now it only showed Jiwook's side. I can't wait for those people to see what Juyeon went through and what excuses they will make for Jiwook then. Even if this is just fiction it doesn't change the fact that karma is real, Juyeon just had guts to release his anger and trauma on his rapist and not be a dick to everyone like Jiwook.
