I don’t see a happy ending. Sure, they might end up together, but escaping? Impossible. They don’t have the means, the money, or even the sharpness needed to outrun a company that powerful. If they want a chance at freedom, they’ll have to run like the world is collapsing behind them because, for them, it basically is.
