Had similar thoughts to another person in the comments below. This sucks. I truly hope Shinjoo (black hair) does not pursue Youngjoo (brown hair) cause they’re not compatible.
I don’t know if what Shin said means poly. It’s normal to be attracted to many people at once, it doesn’t mean they will be okay with having multiple partners at once (unless they said it of course) in an established relationship, or sharing.
It just seems like he is more of a face con (which, valid) considering his words, rather than being serious about pursuing love. Hence, unserious.
Him saying: “I don’t love everyone the same way” (ch21) and that he LIKES Youngjoo’s brother but not love, though it does sound like poly unless he meant he likes Kyesoo (the bottom in first couple of hook line sinker, brother of Youngjoo) as a friend, and loves Youngjoo romantically. (Edited)
I truly feel like perhaps Shinjoo still likes Kyesoo but it was never seriously love, until he met Youngjoo, someone who could do him good, and put him in his s&m place. I feel like that’s what he is trying to say. He is basically like: Is it wrong to like your brother? I don’t love him. The one I love is you. My love for everyone is different (his own words ch 21)!
It’s heavily left for interpretation until Shinjoo gets a chance to explain. Sorry if I made no sense. I’m also trying to make sense of it.
I wish the Youngjoo (brown hair) didn’t leave so early without hearing him out though! Frustrated me, I wanted to see Shin explain explicitly. Come on miscommunication!!
