Aye aye aye I don’t care that HE’S treating him like that. I just said I’d don’t like him in cahoots with the brother. The brother‘s throat should’ve been slit as soon as they learned he was alive. That’s like rule number one of the horror movie make sure the monster is dead. Why the fuck is he still alive? It’s like the biggest plot hole ever because that man would’ve never let him leave his sight alive. He literally wants to kill a little girl that may or may not be dead already.
I don’t think the people know that he killed his family. We, as the audience do. That’s why he got the general’s help to do so. Now that the brother has made his survival public (who also seems to be beloved by the people) btw, his hands seem to be tied. It’s important to know that this was a different time, nobles were seen as equal to gods so a prince killing his brother is different from him killing a mere lowly servant. The brother made himself known to many of the palace servants and has not seemingly made any threat to the throne to be considered a traitor. Also, it’s important to note that Geon is still insecure of not knowing what Sammyeong wants and it seems his brother is holding that over him, that “If I die, you will never be able to figure him out.” Finally, now that Samyeong knows that his childhood friend (the prince) is actually alive, he’d definitely want to meet with him and Geon can’t do anything but let him then throw a fit afterwards.

I don’t like that this change came about in relation to his older brother. If this like was an organic change, I could probably accept it but NAH. You treat him like a dog because somebody who doesn’t/has never thought of him as a human told you too.
