Cats age differently. He’s 21 in human years and he’s 1.5-2 in cat years. He’s very young to begin with but domesticated cats are genetically just small and cute and soft looking. Even their ancestor the bobcat is very much a small and soft and cute looking child. Cats also don’t really show many physical ageing other than getting frail and maybe some white hairs popping up. He will likely always look wayyy younger than he is.
