I have no idea why they omitted the words. It’s most meaningful here. They also neglected to show that Ines realized Carcel already knew the truth about why she chose him and he was hurt by the truth. They always diminish his feelings or hurt as a person except when he’s hurting for Ines. This is why many of the original novel readers I knew already dropped the manhwa since season 1.
Novel excerpt below from Ines’s perspective:
—————
"Because I never intended to live as your wife in the first place."
The forlong blue eyes of Cárcel crumbled a little. What struck her in the meantime was that he was hurting while knowing everything. He wasn't falling apart by the unexpected shock of the dream, nor by the sense of betrayal from her. (INES REALIZED CARCEL WASN’T SHOCKED BY THE TALK OF DREAMS AND THE TRUTH OF WHY SHE CHOSE HIM)
"I wasn't going to ever tell you, not because I want you to live with me without knowing, but because you don't even need to know."
It was a wound he was already familiar with, a pain he could foresee. She just couldn't understand it. (INES’S THOUGHTS)
"In the first place, I thought my problem had nothing to do with you. That's the difference between my parents and me who deceived you."
But he knew. How did he know, yet could still love her? (INES’S THOUGHTS)
"I was the one who knew my flaws best, but I wasn't the least bit sorry for you.
Because this marriage isn't real anyway."
"Inés."
"I was going to ruin everything from the start. From that early age, looking at the innocent you."
“I know.”
“I…….”
“I know, Inés. Even if you didn’t look so sorry to death.”
“I, Cárcel, I….”
“I know it’s not like that anymore.”
Cárcel’s eyes were stiff, as if he had been hurt. Ironically, as much as he didn’t break down, she belatedly fell apart. Tears that filled up in an instant flowed down endlessly. (INES’S THOUGHTS)

This was a good chapter, but I’m unsure what the point is of omitting those last couple speech bubbles considering in the raws for the next chapter we don’t revisit this scene. So it’ll either be omitted forever or maybe revisited later? I’m not sure.
