So like he could have said something like “i didnt fuck you because i cared about your well being” but instead he says “i wanted to fuck you but you weren’t well so I held back from raping you in your sleep”. I think the problem is the Magnitude of his toxicity. If he was like a little brat then this type of apology and “growth” is realisitc. Jaekyung has not shown any real growth for the amount of times he has been abusive. He has not shown in action his growth. He gave Dan clothes, hung with him for a week and took care of him for a week MEANWHILE FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR I REPEAT A YEAR he has abused Dan. This growth arc could’ve been written so much better than this. Instead in 3 chapters we are expected to excuse all of his behavior. It’s kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
