Idk if I’m just misremembering the old one cuz I’m fond of it - but I stg this immediately started of more… cliche? Suppose-to-be-funny? Idk how to put it, the first part of their romance felt very “mature” and it had its humorous moments, but it felt like it had stakes kinda. This one feels very slap stuck and just… not the same story? I don’t hate it but I’ll update that opinion when I’m at the end of season 2.
