Kim Dan being confused as always about why Jaekyung is behaving the way he is, has me wondering, just when and how does Dan look at and evaluate his own life and the things that have happened to him. He's going through some sort of therapy, but hasn't stopped for one second this entire time to pinpoint why he does the things he does or reacts to situations like he does.
Sure you don't want to blame his grandmother for the way he's crippled emotionally, mentally or even financially. Because she is his only family and he is so dependent on her, afraid and fearful of her ultimately leaving him, which means he'd be alone in this world.
Jaekyung is the same but at least he is thinking about the source of his pain, and while he works to help Dan, he's in a way working to heal himself. Jaekyung even though he lust after Dan, it's clear that he is building a family with him or rather he wants more connections with Dan, sex is the physical manifestation of him showing Dan how much he desires him. The forcefulness and violent nature of the sex they use to have was the only way Jaekyung could be with Dan or anyone because it was all performative, all meant to protect his heart. I hope the writer moves Dan to a place where he speaks it out...tells Jaekyung that he loves him and this time let it be when they aren't having smexy time! Also for Jaekyung as well...no matter what the outcome of his fight is, for him to tell Dan he loves him.
