I read the novel and with all due respect, they’re both retards. This is not a case of miscommunication. They’re both simply dumb to the point of exasperation. They think they’re mature and smart but they’re simply stupid? The whole novel is about how they’re creating a problem that can be solved in one chapter if they understood what simple feelings are? A five year old has more emotional intelligence than these two. Idk if it’s because it’s a Korean story and Korean people lack profoundly emotional intelligence, but this theme of creating misunderstandings because none of the can put a name to their feelings is far fetched. It would be understandable if the characters were teenagers. But these are two dudes that are Turing 30 years old. I mean, I know they’re men. And men are usually just simply dumb. But still. This is too much. Plus, the novel is so poorly written and the translation is made with google translate. So, between dealing with the bad plot, lack of personality from both characters and a making use of your detective skills to decipher the translation, this novel is trash. But there’s nothing decent lately. Is BL dying?
