My exact thought! It's going really well so far and it's so refreshing to see the MC being in an actual survival mode
It’s a breath of fresh air because most the time the authors jump over the healing portion, when you’re that abused it takes a looong time to get back to normal health wise and I love how they’ve included so many detail to contribute to that aspect (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Yes!!! Those and I really love when her fever broke out at the eastern manor!!
The east manor chapters really brought everything together, I always hated when the FLs family/friends would question if the abuse really happened when there should be physical and psychological evidence to prove it ╥﹏╥
Also because I’m nosy, you gotta start the Eternally Regressing Knight series you have in your want to reads! Soo good, highly recommend ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
While I wish she handled things more on her own I like how they stay true to the fact she can’t do much because the malnutrition and lack of muscle…there’s also other factors starvation can affect like sleep, judgement, etc because she’s in survival mode so it makes sense she struggled to have much more of a reaction to even her maid deceiving her as well as much of reaction to being treated well so I’ll forgive the fact she needs help currently but I do hope that she isn’t so helpless in the future and doesn’t need to be constantly saved
As for the ML, I like the clueless ones but I do wish he didn’t “fall” for her so easily, I’d have rather had the progression go from interest to allies to friends then lovers but it could’ve been just to set him up as ML from the beginning so we’re not left wondering? We will see how it unfolds but overall I like the art and the story while cliche has a few fun lil twists and lore to keep me entertained
Side note: I can’t wait to see her mothers side of the family get absolutely crushed (▰˘◡˘▰)
