Basically the Junkie Second Lead found out information on our blonde puppy and that what was on the USB he put in the computer. Remember the officer is still hung up on the kid who was stabbed to death and apparently either blondie is the kid who was stabbed or he is actually the younger brother. But Junior Second Lead thinks this will get blondie out the picture and he will have Mr. Officer to himself again. Which to be honest was the officer really ever his to begin with not really the officer was just using sex as a means to distract him from his trauma instead of seeking therapy! I know this isn’t best or most refined answer but basically that is what happened these last few chapters.
